🔴 IMMEDIATE APPEAL FOR JUSTICE 🔴
The Baraawe Human Rights Protection organization has conducted a comprehensive investigation into the wrongful incarceration of Muna Ibrahim Abikar, a former member of the Somali Federal Parliament. Muna has been unjustly detained in the central prison of Mogadishu for more than three years, without any credible evidence substantiating her imprisonment.
We urgently implore Mr. Hassan Macalin Mohamud, the Minister of Justice and Constitution, to take prompt and decisive action to address this grave infringement of human rights. Muna’s continued detention appears to be driven by political motives, rooted in a complex interplay of personal and political conflicts, making it essential that justice is upheld.
The community of Afgoye, alongside Muna’s family, is appealing to international human rights organizations and ambassadors in Mogadishu to advocate for her immediate release. This ongoing injustice is unacceptable, and we need your voice to help galvanize support for Muna Ibrahim Abikar.
